She blew it. I don't care about the other shite you guys hate her for but HATE speech is an ambiguous leftist phrase used for the last 2 decades defined as ANYTHING liberals don't like. The government has no right to define hate speech. Calls to violence, yes. Horrible rude disgusting comments by either side. No.

At minimum Trump needs to openly renounce her statement and maximum send her packing for it.

Way to leave out half the quote

Another fricking moron who doesn't know what he's talking about. THAT PART was added this morning in response to the blowback from this original quote from yesterday:

Attorney General Pam Bondi: "There's free speech and then there's hate speech, and there is no place, especially now, especially after what happened to Charlie, in our society...We will absolutely target you, go after you, if you are targeting anyone with hate speech."

Nothing about "crosses the line into violence". Just simply "hate speech".

It’s not so much a”threat” of violence, but speech that actually incites violence.
Somewhat analogous to yelling “fire” in a crowded theater…

How about this: calling anyone on the right a "Nazi" incites violence against them. Anyone who has called someone a "Nazi" (tweeted, posted, etc) should get 5 years in prison for inciting violence. Sound fair?

Calling someone a Nazi by itself probably doesn’t rise to “inciting” .

And who gets to decide which speech rises to that level? Would you like to ask Charlie Kirk's wife if being called a Nazi could incite violence?

Smug when you're wrong.
Unable to admit you were wrong gracefully when corrected.
Two strikes that tell me you are a piece of garbage.

I guess you hear what you want to hear.

Her reference to the circumstances of Kirk's assassination was clear, implicit, and relevant. But if you want to interpret it as a call for correct pronouns or else, then feel free. Clearly that was not the point of reference though.

I'm not a Bondi fan. I collected DVs when I criticized her nomination after Gaetz gave up the ghost. She was weak in FL. She does not impress me as particularly bright. But criticizing her for these comments is silly.

The left has officially lost its collective mind. So hate speech was a thing they supported in the past, and they could use it to go after conservatives. But now it's not a thing bc it might be used against them. For Christ's sake, please pick one and stick with it. It is getting hard to keep up with the waffling.

Also, didn't the courts sort out the hate speech thing years ago?

Speech doesn't kill people. People kill people. Sound familiar?
