Bolton giddy over prospects of war with Iran????

Congress over the years have given the President all kinds of authority to wage war.
The administration now plans to designate a branch of the Iranian military as a terrorist organization. Such a designation gives the President power to attack them without even consulting Congress.
Do you want your kids in harms way for a war or even a hot fight with Iran??
Bolton has never seen a war he didn't like. He is absolutely committed to the US being the world's policeman.

The stated goal and mission of Islam is to conquer and convert the world. Those who refuse will be put to death. We cannot peacefully co-exist.
Our final recourse will be to destroy them or be destroyed. It's us or them. Why put it off?

Not our problem. They are on the other side of the world. When they come and try to invade the United States, then I will support any action against them. But until then, let the people on that side of the world deal with them if it is such a threat. Which I do not think it is.
I think a certain people are massively over exaggerating the "threat" Iran poses.

No. This is a policy decision that troubles me. However, as someone who served, my oath was in regards to enemies both foreign and domestic. If Saudi Arabia and Israel are on board, then that mainly leaves the Shia in Iran standing in the way of relative peace in the Middle East. Trump has been known to use posturing, followed by action if necessary. International politics is the most vicious version of discourse. I don't want a war and I don't believe that we will have one. I could, however, see the Iranians being arrogant enough to poke the bear. If their troops are found out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, they may just be eating a MOAB for breakfast.
TLDR - I don't want war, but I see no reason not to trust Trump concerning foreign policy.

I would possibly support a few troops on the ground in mostly an advisory role, while we support other nations' ground troops with intel, missiles, and aircraft.

We’re not going to war with Iran unless they do something to us which they won’t. The people over there are getting tired of their government. I see a Civil War happening in Iran in the coming years. Will be a nasty Civil War though, very similar to the Syria one

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is not the Iranian army, navy, etc. It is like Nazi Germany’s SS Corps as opposed to the German Army, or Soviet Political Officers as opposed to regular Red Army officers.

The purpose of declaring them a terrorist organization is to prevent governments and companies from funding or doing business with them.
This is designed to weaken them and REDUCE terrorist activity.
We are not planning on responding to them like the Taliban or ISIS unless like them, they attack Americans. But wait!!! Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps Has been funding and arming our enemies and KILLING American forces for years!!! We have been fighting them for over a decade!
So, Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps has been putting our “kids in harms way for a war or even a hot fight with Iran” already!!!
