what exactly from the Mueller report warranted the reconnaissance? specific(s)? even one?

Don't for a second think that any of this is ever going to lead to Obama's doorstep.
They've got Hillary, if they want her, for violations of the espionage act. But as far as the Russia debacle the intelligence community is going to be sacrificed to protect the White House. I doubt that any of them had any direct contact with Obama, Jarret, etc. They will sacrifice Lynch if necessary to protect the WH.

I don't care if these guys are trying to save face or not. The more of these left leaning pundits that start questioning the validity of the Trump collusion investigation the better. Especially journalists who were duped or are finally coming out of their TDS stupor. If enough of them defect we might actually get to the bottom of this farce.

Woodward was just one more hack who was sitting on the sidelines and rooting for Mueller to fabricate something that could be used to bring down Trump and his Presidency. Mueller could've come up with any crazy reason to claim that Trump colluded with the Russians, and Woodward would've gone along even if he knew Trump had been railroaded.
Poor Deep State. They aren't used to losing, but theyve lost the two biggest battles of the past 30 months:
1) They never thought she would lose.
2) They thought Mueller, the insurance policy, would rectify the "mistake" that American voters made on November 8, 2016.
The Deep State is 0-2. Here's hoping their losing streak continues.

He was hoping aginst hope that Mueller would force enough testimony from scared witnesses that there would be some resasonable reasons to proceed against Trump.

Then buzzfeed published it. We all pointed and laughed at buzzfeed...
Then we found out the INTELLIGENCE SERVICES OF THE UNITED STATES TOOK IT SERIOUSLY...

The fisa stuff was after the spying...it was merely used to justify spying...that had been occurring since Jan 16 AT LEAST.
