Board Survey - Do people you know really care about impeachment?

I'm in Chicago - ground zero for the Democrat machine. I work around a ton of liberals. I remember the Clinton impeachment was the talk of the town, everyone had an opinion and it was constantly discussed.
98% of people that I know or interact with, many of whom are liberal, could care less about what is going on in DC.
Am I in a bubble?

Most people I know do not give a shite about politics. All they care about is Instagram and Facebook. There may be a quick comment about a WaPo article seen about how bad Trump is, but that’s about it.

Anybody that does not like Trump, they may care. Most people I know do not care though. The media and the democrats have not really painted a clear picture of a crime.
Presidents bullying people is kind of what they are elected to do, it is hard to make that a crime.

Nixon was clear. They were busted for spying, people understood that.
Trump is so nuanced and wrapped in feelings people are just not sure.
The electorate also have no faith anything will happen, since Clinton and Nixon were not removed. Those were clear crimes.

I care.
I'm furious.
Everyone I know is either indifferent to the Democrats lunacy, or confused about how it's ok for Biden to put his kid on the Board of a Foreign Company whose shady dealings are blessed by a shady Foreign Gvt, and abscond with Millions, but it's not ok for Trump to ask about it.

Very few, and I question if some of them even know how this process plays out. This has been a dog and pony show from the beginning and anyone with half a brain knows that. I didn’t vote for the President in 2016 but I will next November with a smile on my face mainly because of 4 years of constant BS from the Democratic Party, and I’m a registered Democratic.

Was thinking about this earlier this morning.
Normally I'd expect impeachment of a POTUS to be a very, very big deal. The tipoff about what this really is, is that nobody is paying attention. Literally nobody I know is talking about this or paying any attention to it.
