The Dem power brokers would rather burn it down in 2020 rather than let Bernie be the nominee. They know if he gets the nomination it will change the Dem party for a decade.

He should be- while the other remaining socialists fight it our they are running out of money. With no clear cut winner nobody is going to get money. Bloomberg will be the last man standing.

Four of the top six Democratic presidential campaigns spent heavily ahead of the Iowa caucuses, and they are now at a major disadvantage on the airwaves heading into next month’s crucial Super Tuesday contests.

While billionaire Michael Bloomberg is already spending about $156 million on TV and radio ads across the 14 states that weigh in on March 3, neither former Vice President Joe Biden nor former Mayor Pete Buttigieg had invested in a single Super Tuesday commercial as of Thursday night, according to ad tracker Kantar/CMAG.

Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren combined have put less than $2 million into Super Tuesday ads. Of the six candidates in Wednesday’s Democratic debate, Sen. Bernie Sanders is the only nonbillionaire with a major paid-media presence in those states, with $11 million in ads.

The Dem Base is delusional, SO...they love AOC and Abrams; no matter how sane people on the Right view them. It's the Dems Base that Bloom needs to bring in to have a shot.

You talking to me or the guy that wrote the article? Maybe you should read it first and comment second so you don't appear an idiot with your accusations.

And I am pulling for that to be a reality.

Democratic dysfunction on full display in Milwaukee with all the violence and drama that is sure to follow will further fracture an already divided party.

At some point, there will be an uprising by the people when they are not going to take the open and brazen corruption any longer. It appears to be getting closer and closer to that time. When that happens, may the people realize the corruption is the same Asse with two infected cheeks.

Time will tell, but it sounds like solid strategy, based upon realpolitik rather than unicorn farts.

If the Dem field remains fractured after Super Tuesday, the chances a pretty good that no one candidate will control a majority of the delegates by convention time. Failing to plan for that eventuality would be indicative of a candidate too shortsighted to be worthy of the office.

Plus, a Bloomberg/Buttigieg ticket would be formidable. Bloomberg/Klobuchar less so, but the power brokers may feel the need for some estrogen on the ticket.

Talking heads said the same thing in 2016. The chances of a brokered convention are incredibly rare vs Bernie or Buttgieg gaining control by mid-March.

Bloomberg would be a old uber rich guy sticking it to the most energetic wing of the dnc.

Buttigieg while just the VP nod would do nothing to help in getting blacks to vote for the dnc.

I don't see anything formidable except Blooms money.
