Exposure to a diverse range of world views isn't what higher ed is about anymore.

It has been proven that this didn't happen and brought up here several times. Once again, this didn't happen. Just so you know for your own good, this is not what happened. One more time because I think you're too much of a sheep for things you read on the the OT; This did not happen.

Since it didn't happen at an HBCU either, I guess it doesn't matter.

As I said before, I also think the students could have also handled it in such a way as to not magnify the problem. Everyone needs to behave with more sensitivity and with a desire to coexist as a national community of people who can disagree respectfully.

So you are saying both were in the wrong? You sound like Trump.

Correct. Lots of false quivelencies being posted in a desperate attempt but Howard administration removed people for wearing a MAGA hat.
Wrong. The administration didn't remove them from campus. They leftt on their own.

A white person absolutely SHOULD expect that if they wear a Maga hat to a place that is almost totally black, they'll get shite for it.

So what you are saying is that we should expect intolerance and irrational behavior when Howard U students encountered a different world view...and that it is our fault if we don't?

Not at all. Read the rest of my posts in this thread. I guess that post and alone might seem that way but if you see the prior fuel you'll get the point

Get what? This incident doesn't prove that the individuals nor the University is racist. I've seen some make the argument here that saying Ni99er doesn't necessarily make someone racist. Do we know that they were singled out because they are White or because they were wearing MAGA apparel? Were other white students targeted? No. I'd argue that a black kid wearing the same thing would have been targeted too
