Be hyper offended by even the simplest of affronts.
Declare that anyone who doesn't ACTIVELY AVOID offending you is a trouble maker and go so far as to say that people should simply cater to your view or they are trouble makers.
It's an excellent way to effectively remove opposing thought from the public sphere.
You simply make even expressing the opposing thought a form of misbehavior.

I don't think anyone here is surprised at this response at all. The point is that the left is far more intolerant than anyone else on the spectrum and have zero problems with intimidating those that have opposing views. They also enjoy the luxury of being able to get away with it and have their behavior excused as reacting to "triggers" and "hate speech". They can do what they want and these institutions (schools, media, etc) run cover for them.
