Honestly, I'm really for the traffic violations by mail, or just eliminated. It protects both citizens and cops and just common sense for the technology that we have today. Eliminate the bullshite court cost that comes with tickets where a normal speeding ticket is $50 instead of $50 + $125 court fees

Ending traffic stops is going to have a big impact on communities of color.
It most ghettos, traffic laws and their enforcement is the best tool used to identify and apprehend the trouble makers. Probable cause for a violation is much easier to find then reasonable suspicion and its easier to articulate. Add in the bonus that most weapons and narcotics are trafficked via a vehicle and you start to get the idea.
I can’t tell you how many illegal guns, wanted violent criminals, and burglars I have been involved in apprehending under the pre text of a traffic violation. To end the ability to stop a vehicle and look into it would allow immunity for those who wish to do harm and thieves that prey in the night.
None the less, it’s their funeral. Choose wisely.

I was just thinking yesterday that the roads will be like putting the Autobahn in the some Middle East shithole. Everybody going over 100 mph coupled with no yielding. Just a chaotic game of chicken.
And sure...send the ticket in the mail. With no police to arrest people for not paying or missing their court date, how the hell will they collect? Garnish paychecks or withhold food stamps or ebt?

I agree, there shouldn’t be any police in their communities but everywhere else they’re welcome. More law and order for us will be greatly appreciated.
