"What about Rand Paul's?"

"Horrible education in KY, bad jobs"...basically the female host went on a rant about Kentucky being no different that Baltimore, "worse that Baltimore in many aspects, why isn't anyone attacking the Republicans for their messes after being in Congress for 30 years?" (no a bad question if true)

said ""we have to get McConnell out or we will never get anything passed after we win the white house"

"We need Progressive Judges on the Supreme Court"

"We need that Health Care"

I am dumbfounded black radio can not find better representatives... to make more logical, and sound arguments on the airwaves..

this is embarrassing...the answer to Baltimore is to attack Republicans?

I care what Black radio is pushing out for many reasons...

93% of Black people should not vote democrat but they do...this statistic is so out of balance...callers were talking about how in the south, North Carolina, Florida and other tight races states, "voter suppression is a huge problem"

What suppression?

Do they really think Whites are trying to suppress the Black vote?

where does this stuff come from?
how?

White men are Nazis don't you know.

It may be time to start thinking about using our "might " to make this country "right" if they are going to keep targeting us.

most people believe the narrative supplied by who they listen to and what they read. There is no voter suppression in the south. They do make a point about a lot of red states that are ran by conservatives. Kentucky receives almost 3 dollars in federal aid for every dollar they send to DC. That's Mitch putting work. GOP likes to talk entitlements until it comes to the federal dollars handed out in poor GOP states.

Typical democrat boogeyman to keep their misinformed voters scared. Every person working at the polls in my district is a black female, so if they are being suppressed it's by their own people in this case.

Shock value brah. Look at Jemelle Hill and why she stayed on the air as long as she did. She wasn't hired b/c of her smarts.

This seems almost as pathetic as the guy on here the other day who was trying to throw out South Dakota as a good example of a white people populated "shithole."

For the record, I'm all for doing what can be done to rectify ALL the shitholey parts of the country. I don't understand the notion that we should not be.

But a political talk show host should be known for smarts and not shock and false narratives.

Black people believe the police profile them and treat them unfairly...there is some truth to this I am sure of it...

but my goodness, isn't it time to actually address the Profile problems?

You can't fix real problems telling law enforcement to change their ways...

Change behavior and attitude and you will be respected...that's how the world turns

why is this seldom said on black radio? Just common sense stuff?

their whole object on that station is "to win"... :just get Trump out

To them, they would feel like they achieved something great...like it would really help them in life?

I don't get it...

I love how they gloss over King Elijah is a congressman representing a very specific 710,000 person area.

Cocaine Mitch is a senator, elected by the entire state. Cummings has waayyyyyy more control over his district and 1 of 2 senators does his state.

So, I saw this same topic from a listing of the Worst 25 Counties in the US, in which 10 counties were in Kentucky. That ranking was mainly based on poverty. Appalachia has true poverty: kids without shoes that have to chew on sticks to ease the pain of rotten teeth. Not "ghetto poverty" where mama has an iPhone and gets her hair and nails did, yet her kids go without food.

But guess what? You will not find a single one of those places in Kentucky on that list on the top 25 Most Violent Neighborhood in the US. Baltimore has 4 of the top 10 most violent neighborhoods in the US.

Both of these lists destroy the narrative that blacks are violent because they are poor. The white kids in Appalachia are likely poorer but are not as violent.

My father was raised by his mother during the depression after his dad died when my father was just 8. They were very poor, but my dad was not violent.

It is time that the black "leaders" quit making excuses and start making a difference. A few years ago, I listened to Jesse Jackson on the radio. It was a 1-hour show of nothing but complaints about America. The very next show was a 1-hour show of Asian-Americans, in which they praised this nation. I thought the shows were talking about 2 different Americas.

Comparing apples and oranges. City and state.

What’re the crime and poverty rates in Baltimore versus Kentucky’s largest cities, and how much federal aid do those cities get?

Baltimore is near the top of the list of most dangerous cities in the US. No Kentucky cities are on any lists of most dangerous cities. Seems like a pretty big difference the radio host is ignoring.

I'm not sure that black radio is exactly known as a paragon of truth and objectivity.
