You do realize that Landry as a congresscritter had inserted into a USCG Authorization bill regs that would have shutdown all but deepwater oil production with extreme regs for all oil/gas production platforms? It would have made gazillions for the workboat companies like Chouest.
That is why all the indie oil companies backed Boustany in 2012.
FTR, actual TP groups did not support Landry in 2010. TP of LA did but that is just several old men who have lunch weekly then got a boost with a website from a huckster who was a 2008 Obama supporter and maker of some rap videos then later became a campaign consultant responsible for sucking all the money from several failures of GOP candidates.

Yup. Most recently sunk the campaign of probably the most qualified person in the Lafayette City-Parish President race. That candidate unfortunately failed to even make the runoff.
