Bill Maher and a second civil war

In an article in Breitbart, Bill Maher is reported as urging Americans to accept differences and to get along. In essence to understand differences and not accept a mindset to essentially destroy the political competition. And to remember we are all from the same people from the same grand country. As much as the left despises Trump, he concedes the right views ascendancy of democrats to the presidency as the same. He concludes that there is indeed a possibility of a second cilvil war.
While he is thoughtful I think indeed the left simply wants to obliterate the right. And I doubt those of us on the right will simply concede.

I definitely want the left destroyed. They are a tumor on this country. They will ultimately destroy everything that every made the US prosperous and special.

Maybe but perhaps he realizes that the take no prisoners, just kill them approach of one side will not lead to a pleasant outcome in the end. I didn't watch the video, I just read the article. So perhaps from that I could tell he was being disingenuous. But perhaps he is starting to see this will not end well. I never watch his show but he says a lot of shite that seems to show up in the press.
From my standpoint, it's hard to imagine a second civil war but I really do hate a lot of shites on the other side and that's not good is it?

Ok, ok, I'd put you on the side who believe there could be a second civil war. Maher is in some ways like Will Rogers was. He comments on current politics and he pisses some people off.
