We agree completely on why it happened.

Most on here just dont like when I disagree on whether we should double down if it comes to a ground invasion to force regime change or point out the role of Israel in escalating the conflict once the initial reasonable initial attempt didnt go our way.

Also I didnt think threatening genocide was a good idea even as a bluff because it destabilizes our credibility as a reasonable and stable hegemon for trade deals and alliances in the future.

Are you arguing he didn’t do that or that it was good?

Can you help me out on when this is going to come to fruition?

Because inflation is still kicking the middle class's arse.

He’s attempting to check mate them via a campaign that is systematically removing their power from key areas of the globe.

Personally Ive made clear I don’t think we are likely to achieve all of our goals in Iran without a ground invasion which I’m 100% opposed to, but that doesn’t mean the overall intent to leverage China and the energy markets isn’t the clear goal here or will continue regardless of whatever the outcome in this attempt is.

I’ve made a number of detailed posts explaining what I think is happening both good and bad along with what I believe is likely next on his agenda.

Do you have your own thoughts on what is or isn’t happening and how it’s good or bad for America?

From Strait of Hormuz to Malacca: Is the US Expanding Its Strategic Grip?

Amid Strait of Hormuz tensions, a US-Indonesia defence pact signals possible strategic focus shift toward the Strait of Malacca, a vital global trade chokepoint

quote:

On Monday, the US and Indonesia sealed a major defence cooperation partnership. As per multiple media reports, the agreement grants US military aircraft expanded operational access to Indonesian airspace.

According to an NDTV report, strategic observers have pointed out that such access would enable the US to strengthen its ability to monitor activity over the Malacca Strait.

They used to call it the Cold War. Like you, I don't understand why there has to be an official declaration of war in order to believe that our biggest enemies want to take down America, and are engaged in various activities to make it happen.

Nothing of serious note has happened with The Panama Canal.

Xi Jinping shrugs off Venezuela, so BFD

And Iran still has the same nuclear ambitions and hardline leaders that will continue to cozy up to China. Again, BFD

Outside of evicting a CCP run corporation from controlling it?

Xi Jinping shrugs off Venezuela, so BFD

They source ~10% of their oil from Venezuela and now can’t reliably import oil from Iran so >20% of their oil imports are now directly being impacted by US interventions.

Which is exactly what’s being discussed and attempted to be impacted.
