We learn of the horror of girls not being able to go to secondary schools in Afghanistan and Brain Eating Amoeba.

Up next?

Roundabouts help with Climate change

Then to round off your news you need to know, (and this a guess).

Some "feel good" story of some bad thing.

I was anti-roundabout for the longest time. But the suburbs of Columbus have embraced them, and they are awesome.

Especially if they soft round the curb so driving straight through isn't so jarring to those in a lowrider

Alot better than the old 4 way stop, where it seems no one knows who's turn it is to go. Especially with all the heavily tinted windows.

We’ve had roundabouts in Georgia for many years now.

They put one in my hometown in Louisiana a few years ago, the first one there.

People kept driving straight over it and rutting it up. They planted little trees and bushes to deter this action. People kept driving over the trees and bushes.

They finally had to put up a big ugly metal guardrail to stop people driving over the roundabout. It’s been mostly successful though every now and then it gets bashed up and bent and they have to repair it.

Louisiana can’t have nice things sometimes.

Clearly, you’re not from Youngsville. That little place puts roundabouts in open straightaways.

Lol. What town is this? Roundabouts have been in Louisiana since the 30's. I guess you have never driven through Alexandria.

The ones they put in Hammond have really fricked up traffic. Especially coming of I-12.
