Can someone please explain to me, if this fricking vaccine is so great, why do I have to have one to hang out with someone that’s already vaccinated? Shouldn’t your alright covid shield protect you from me?

If the vaccine was so nessessary and worked so well and was completely safe, they wouldn't have to incentivse it at all. LSU wouldn't be giving free baseball game tickets to vaccinated people, bars wouldn't be offering free drinks to those who get it, etc etc etc.
