If he resigns, the story will be floated that Mueller was pressured by the Trump admin to stop the investigation because the noose was tightening.
A lot of people believe that the SC found evidence of Trump/Russia collusion because of the MSM’s misinformation campaign. Making people believe in obstruction wouldn’t take much effort.

Meuller's resignation or no has nothing to do with the evidence that will be dripping out, due to all the Investigatory mechanisms that are mining an ore-rich vein of documented facts. Will be interesting to see if Meuller tried to destroy any evidence; if He did...He's toast.
