Companies behind big East Coast projects are looking to renegotiate contracts as inflationary pressures upend financial models

Money is a sticking point in climate-change negotiations around the world. As economists warn that limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius will cost many more trillions than anticipated, WSJ looks at how the funds could be spent, and who would pay.
Offshore wind developers are facing financial challenges that threaten to derail several East Coast projects critical to reaching the Biden administration’s near-term clean-energy targets.
Supply-chain snarls, rising interest rates and inflationary pressures are making projects far more expensive to build. Now, some developers are looking to renegotiate financing agreements to keep their projects under way.
The Biden administration has set a target for the U.S. to develop 30 gigawatts of offshore wind power by 2030—enough to supply electricity to roughly 10 million homes. Analysts say that target will be difficult, if not impossible, to achieve if cost and supply issues persist.

I have been somewhat following it because my dumbass democrat Gov here on the Atlantic coast made a BFD of this and committed.
No one can address the sharper blades in a Tropical Depression much less a Hurricane up the Cape Fear River.
Will people from shore to: 30 miles inland in a band get twisters, waterspouts, and flying wind blades?
Will the blades kill birds? There are wildlife swamp preserves around the OBX (by Erik Prince's military swamp) That the govt spends a crap ton on to keep preserved endangered animals & birds. Bald Eagles, various birds...

The funny thing to me is the turbines are made of plastic.
Plastic from petroleum.
These people probably use Vaseline.

Also how are they going to rebuild the grid in time and place millions and millions of EV charging stations?
How far will they go? Further than Solyndra? Make money, Launder, then leave the bag guy to go to jail or file bankruptcy?

These green energy backers are bigger scammers. First of all output of energy is never going to be large enough to cover existing needs let alone future build outs of projected vehicles. Secondly it produces way more destructive effects than present fossil fuels. People are flipping the bill for their own future shortages

It’s a scam.
Oil changed the world, for the better.
We can all go further than 20 Maile’s in a day.
Modern engines are amazing as far as emissions go.
Some people just enjoy the belief they their faith claim is superior. “ I am saving the earth. You are destroying the earth. I am good, you are bad. “
Can’t even see their own hypocrisy.

As if having a maintenance profile more akin to an aircraft 200' up in the air wasn't already enough.
Then there is the reality of global warming and cooling cycles. The computer sims have such a narrow window it's like trying to inspect an elephant with a microscope.
