You missed the part about the amount of money tariffs will bring in to our country. You people always seem to forget this

The point of the tariffs was to close the trade deficit, and force various countries to the negotiating table, not bring in additional revenue.

Yes, we know.

What Massie and Paul say sounds great. I wish we had 435 members of congress who thought exactly the way they did.

But the reality is until we can fix the voter fraud problems (census counting illegals, counting votes endlessly until the blue side wins) they will have only their righteousness to console them.

The GOP needs more of a majority to do anything like what Massie wants.

Sucks but this is the reality.

And if were being honest, the alternative is more perverts in the women's locker room. So the democrats are not a viable political party right now.

Sometimes we need to be thankful for what we have and not complain about what we don't.

You may be satisfied with a tiny bone or lollipop tossed your way but true conservatives who love this country will not compromise.

And btw, why is this nonsense red herring compulsion (Do you think Harris would have been better??") always the default position of those who are critical of Trump-GOP policies?

Many of us believe in holding everyone's feet to the fire -- especially those who purport to be on "our side". Nothing worse than being baited & switched by empty campaign promises and rhetoric by "our guy".

We are going to continue calling out BS when we see it.

Shouldnt matter, its not your government doing business, its private entities.

It shouldn't? Let's see country A says American companies cannot sell cars or motorcycles in country A, but country A sells it's cars and motorcyles in America...

If by central control you mean making other countries treat America fairly. I'm all for that.

Convenient excuse which excludes Trumps push to raise debt ceilings and add money to the DoD budget.

Absolutely. If you want to order a rifle scope made in China, why should the govt be moderating your your purchase and punishing you for wrong think?

Point taken.

This.

And timing wise, choosing this bill as a hill to die on is stupid, when the
progressives are setting themselves on fire.

Or is it intentional?

Then you will lose. We have a HUGE spending problem, we agree. Thing is we didn't get here in 100 days. What makes you think we fix it in 100 days. Same as the guy who is 300 pounds over weight is not going to lose all that weight in 100 days. If he cuts back eating too much, he will quit because it is too painful. You have to lose it slowly like you gained it. Same with the debt, we have to work our way up.

Why do you people always have to bitch and complain about every darn thing.
