Well it's either that or you believe most people voting for Biden actually think he's a good candidate. Could the polls be wrong? Absolutely.
I'm not saying he's going win, but I do think that most of his voter base doesn't actually like him. It's because he has that D next to his name and/or they hate Trump more.

but the pollsters aren't complete idiots
No one is saying this.
We are saying they are willfully lying like they did in 2016 with the exact same intent:
1) To try to discourage Trump voters from even showing up to vote. Won’t work. I actually believe it’s doing the opposite.
2) There’s a very large faction of the public who are sheeple and the establishment knows this. They follow all the trends and go along with everything that is portrayed as popular because trying to be popular is important to them.
3) And in the end, it’s important for Democrats to create perception that not only is Biden close (He isn’t) but that he is winning, so when Trump initially wins but gets royally screwd by mail-in votes, they can say, “well, this makes sense because the polls showed Biden was winning”.

Trump has defied every expectation of the American political class since 2015. The idea the election is over with more than a month before election day is absolutely irresponsible, but not surprising of the Mockingbird media.

Meh these polls have been ridiculously skewed. I saw an Ohio poll as Dem +1. Ohio is R +6-8. These polls are shite

Is the the population vote or the electoral college results.
I can easily see more people on the left coast voting but only the electoral college counts.
