How can any freedom embracing citizen deem it acceptable for fedgov to take my money and use it in such a way?

According to the Hyde Amendment you can't use Medicaid funds to pay for abortion so how is this legal?

That's all the way executive order states. It doesnt say anywhere to make sure abortion travel is covered or that it's only covering abortions.
As someone from rural Oklahoma who had to drive to Arkansas as closest hospital for most services including birth of a child it seems like it would help that.

Americans of the 18th and 19th centuries would be horrified at how much of a role the Federal Govt now plays in our everyday lives. And we aren’t better off for it.
It was never intended to be this way, but generations of power hungry politicians have slowly chipped away at states’ rights. Gone are the days that the Federal Govt’s role was to defend the Union against outside invaders and threats only and let the states decide the smaller, more day-to-day items that directly impact us.
They want our taxpayer dollars to fund abortion, but don’t you dare think taxpayer money can follow your kid to a private school instead of a public one.
