Joe Biden will continue to mumble and slur that he can hardly wait to debate Trump, that is, until he doesn't. His handlers make political decisions and they won't allow it, if Ole Joe becomes agitated, like many Alz's do, they just sedate him.

I did notice the thread title (which was at least the second thread on that quote today). Sure puts a dent in the theory that he will refuse to debate. Probably won't stop the 15 threads a day that speculate he'll skip the debates though.

He participated in multiple debates this year, with the last one being less than 4 months ago. Every statement he has given about this topic has not suggested he would skip any debates. This is a pet conspiracy theory on this board, but I'm not sure why the default thought is that he won't show up. It's pure speculation.

The danger with the talk about how Trump will destroy Biden in the debates is it sets up the expectation.
Basically, Biden can’t lose if he is such an underdog and if Joe can throw together a zinger, then he will be declared the winner.
Plus, don’t forget The Orange One can say some pretty dumb stuff too, especially under a timer where he can’t explain himself.

That’s not true at all. Trump killed it in the 2016 debates especially before getting the nomination. Sure he relies on well, “Your wife is ugly” or “You are fat” a bit too much, but name calling worked for him.
