What a dipstick
quote:
President Biden vowed to bridge the partisan political divide but, struggling to garner Republican support for major bills, his administration appears to be changing the narrative by redefinining what "bipartisan" means. Biden insists he does enjoy support from both parties, however, pointing to Republican voters and officials outside the Beltway. "If you looked up ‘bipartisan’ in the dictionary, I think it would say support from Republicans and Democrats," senior Biden adviser Anita Dunn told the Washington Post. "It doesn’t say the Republicans have to be in Congress."

The media will go with it.

Any Republican going along with this charade needs to be primaried.
Wish there were stronger GOP voices around where the fear would be palpable if they continue their antics.

It's not like words matter at this point. They will get away with this as long as the media gives the public plausible deniability. They showed literal burning buildings last year and called it mostly peaceful. People have to get angry and push back.

I guess Anita is saying if Joe Cuckborough, Jeff Flake, Bill Kristol, and any number of never Trumpers are in agreement with the Swamp it’s considered bipartisan....lol!

I remember when all it took was a single Republican vote from the poor bastard that ended up with Bill Jeffersons seat to declare the ACA "bipartisan". lol

Well that's convenient, all he needs to do is cite the Lincoln Project being on his side to say it's bipartisan.

How it's going:

That "support" he is getting from republican voters is all based on words.
Would you support an infrastructure bill? People say of course our infrastructure definitely needs works (well their infrastructure bill is actually a social welfare bill but you would not know that from a question in a poll)
Would you support common sense gun control? People say sure, Sounds nice and logical, it is common sense after all. But common sense gun control is a totally made up term with no meaning, it just sounds nice. Because it has no meaning people cant trace that to see how it would affect them directly, it's clever
Would you support a huge covid relief bill? People say sure! many are suffering and need help. But it ends up really being a pork bill for their democrat constituents
These polls are fluff, no detail, all words that sound nice. Hanging bi partisan support on them is worthless in reality but effective for optics.
Democrats control the language, the media propagates the language. They have become very good at creating their own language and also redefining the current language.

She used a lot of words that were more than four letters.
Fact Check: TRUE!!!
