Why would privilege extend to third parties requesting that the doctor lie?
Wouldn't acknowledging it as a lie be revealing patient information? Maybe POTUS is exempted, I don't know. But if he can't answer "Was Joe Biden lucid and mentally competent?" then he also can't answer "Were you ever asked to lie and say Joe Biden was lucid and mentally competent?" Or at least he can't answer yes.

Should do the same regarding Epstein files. We want answers.

What stimulants did you prescribe for the president to get him through campaign events in 2019?

Even though he immediately moved for Biden to get out of the election, he has now doubled down and still thinks that was the best Biden ever. Joe S is a clown and Joe B is a potato.

I thought I heard that if he refused to answer, he could be cited for contempt of Congress?
If he refused to show, or simply refused to answer without a reason, that could be contempt of Congress.
However, he cannot be punished for taking the 5th just as a criminal defendant cannot be punished for refusing to take the witness stand.

There's a simple remedy here...
Give the doctor blanket immunity. Then, he isn't entitled to plead the fifth. He's a small fish. Give him immunity for the sake of getting the decision makers inside the WH.

He can if he's given immunity. There is no possibility of self incrimination when you have immunity.

I remember when pointing out that Biden obviously had dementia was a "conspiracy theory".
Good times.
And the endless real video clips of his dementia were "cheap fakes."

Don't understand why the committee didn't anticipate this and immediately grant him immunity and compel his testimony.

Yep. And I’m all for that. He’s small potatoes.

Biden’s doctor is either the worst doctor ever, or he was covering up for Biden. No wonder he is pleading the Fifth.

Eric Holder wasn’t the head of the IRS; that traitorous criminal was the attorney general.
