You're being a little disingenuous about this though. It is quite suspect to say the least, and based on how the WH acts about shutting things down they don't want Americans seeing it's no stretch at all to believe the FAA is acting on WH orders.

I don't pretend to KNOW why they did it. I'm suggesting that there are very good reasons that the FAA does this kind of thing on a regular basis. Does it not make sense that perhaps the border patrol has stepped up flights in that area? Perhaps they're flying lower than the usual 500 foot minimum altitude in an effort to patrol this massive number of illegals. Drones show up on the FAA's radar. That can (and has) affected the FAA's ability to regulate an air space. Besides, FOX already has plenty of aerial footage of the situation. I've been seeing it for days.

I did. It doesn't negate my points about air traffic control in the area. It isn't like the FAA banned all flights. They just temporarily banned drones from flying. That ban has been lifted now.
