The hype over Charter Schools are way overblown.
2 things make a good school.
1. Personal accountability by parents and students
2. Control over the students. If your kid is acting out then they are dealt with. None of this I'll sue or my child is being singled out BS.

What exactly are the arguments against charter schools specifically and school choice more broadly?
Surely it is not about money---The public school systems already spend an astronomical amount of money per child compared to private schools and charters, with much worse results. Is this purely a teachers union thing?
