I would.say that you are a.propagandist but you actually believe it yourself. That makes you a Tin Foiler.
You don't even know the difference in a treaty and an Assurance. Do you know that assurances aren't bound like treaties?
I personally believe that those assurances were made to the Soviets. And I don't support Ukraine into Nato. I don't believe that Ukraine ever stood a realistic shot at NATO membership. The west was just dragging them along and using them. Same with Georgia.

Answer the question. This is the problem that I have. You called it a treaty.
Do you even know Congress has to approve treaties?
If assurances were given, they got taken to the woodshed. Just as Ukraine did in the Budapest Memorandum. Did you know that Russia gave Ukraine assurances in the Budapest Memorandum for security and sovereignty? How did that work out? The US and the UK signed them also. Many Ukraine Firsters have claimed that by giving those assurances to Ukraine the US and UK were bound to defend Ukraine. Those assurances aren't binding like treaties. The US wasn't obligated to do anything. An assurance is nothing but a promise.

There was no treaty! NEVER HAPPENED.
There was an agreement between Ukraine, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States that Ukraine’s territorial integrity would be honored and Ukraine would hand over the former USSR’s nuclear weapons in Ukraine to Russia.
Ukraine turned over the weapons, but Russia broke the agreement when they invaded Ukraine under the Obama administration that did nothing.

So did Russia break the agreement when they invaded Ukraine? They signed and gave assurances for security and sovereignty for Ukraine in the BM. Is that arguing semantics?
Do I believe the West gave its word on NATO expansion and then broke it? Yes.
Like I said. Assurances aren't binding. Both sides gave them and both sides broke them.
