Former NPR CEO on bias

Yes, the column is in the Post, but the person writing it is of consequence. He's a former CEO of NPR, and he talks about how stories get covered, which stories get covered and why.

NPR may present both sides, but both sides are not presented equally.

It’s Saturday. Not gonna argue viewpoints. But to my broader point - Politics is a small percentage of their daily package. Nothing at all like Fox’s programming

Would it be rude to say, "no shite"? One is a channel with news and unabashed opinion shows. One is a "channel" covering all kinds of subjects including some "news" and biased political commentary.

God bless the soul of Tom Magliozzi.

I have often wondered either way...

...do they send all their hosts to the same voice school so they can get the same inflection.

Weekday commute programming is likely the majority of their listenership. Like every other radio station in the country. And that's almost exclusively politics. Even the non politics stories have to have their insane progressive slant.

This is enough reason to believe Fox News now. No way he’d be saying that if they weren’t digging up all the dirt on him and the Clintons.

Solid reasoning. Lol

This. Should have mentioned Right wing radio blowhards.

There is a thread by a poster claiming Rush told him there was No ( "none") legal immigration to the US between 1921-1965. Demonstrably false.

Leftists say a lot that doesn't age well lately.

Y'all pull up more of their stupidity.
