My first couple of reads, I thought he was limiting the directive to Editorials. I now see he seems to be including op-Ed’s.
I’m not sure I agree with going as far as he is, if I’m honest. I’m fine with presenting INFORMED opposing views. As it is, though, far too many people make a living writing shite op-Ed’s that are devoid of reason or substance and only want to provoke clicks. That crap should be banished, but leave room for well-argued and documented alternatives.

My point: a paper should not have a single point of view. If they are allowing opinion pieces, they should be allowing competing opinions. Otherwise, they are just a propoganda machine.
I find it funny that in the same sentence they say they are going to be pro-free market, by limiting the free market, at least at a very micro level
