I understand that a prior poster mentioned this, but why focus on this?

This is purposeful to halt honesty inquiry (see my posts above) and to make it easy to dismiss en masse (on display here)

I do realize that much of the sentiment on this board is full of shite.

One thing I find amusing is the idea that Trump is anti- corporatist/globalist or whatever the term dujour may be.

It is mind-boggling how easily the establishment is able to herd the flock.

What I’m particularly worried about is the day that one of these brainwashed individuals decide to “up the ante” and get together with one or more other like-minded souls, and go from targeting schools to massive public venues with 50k+ people crammed in like sardines (i.e. college football or NFL stadiums). I fear it’s only a matter of time with the internet making everyone able to connect and share ideas that much easier.

Yeah I doubt it would be difficult for someone to buy\steal\rent a small plane like so many people use to fly into Tuscaloosa or Baton Rouge (or any city with a game that day). There is no way to defend against some crazy person crashing it into the stands. More people would be killed by the stampeding to get away than the plane actually killed.

The irony is that these are the same people skyscreaming about the blind loyalty towards Obama.

"Hey I know that guy. He doesn't live in Conneticut. He lives in Los Angeles. He doesn't even have a kid."

Please explain how this doesn't happen. How many people know you in real life that would see your face plastered on tv claiming to be someone you weren't?

It wouldn't be very hard to contact an investigative reporter with the information you have. It is also likely that if you know the person you know other people who know them as well.

Why would the powers that be even take a chance on something that could so easily be outed?

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — One of the biggest high school football games in Arkansas was cancelled after a fight led to rumors of gunfire at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

This is that part that would keep people from ever attending, apart from the getting shot possibility.

It caused thousands of people and both football teams to flee for the exits, according to video from the stadium.

They underestimated the intelligence and resolve of the American people. We’re on to them and have been from the beginning. They expected nothing but sheep, like you.

Question: is the CIA always to blame for a high profile tragedy?
Apparently. In a country of a mere 330,000,000 people there is no way a couple are so angry or deranged that they would act out violently without some nefarious government plot.

This board has grown in its share of paranoia and gullibility.

Good Lord. It has been 27 years since that foolishness was written and in the meantime gun rights have expanded drastically both in weapons available and "shall issue" concealed carry states. The Supreme Court has also affirmed it as an individual right. The elites better check the burner, cause this pot is cooling.

Why wait anyway? Australia took away guns quickly. And, no, I don't believe Americans would physically fight the government confiscating them despite all of the bluster. When it comes down to it, it's not 1840 and people are too comfortable to risk their lives over their guns.

You may be right that people are too comfortable to risk their livelihood over guns. But that isn't the point.

I agree with Thine that in this country the establishment boils the frog slowly. Why? To keep us playing the game by convincing us it is our decision and in our best interests to remain in that game.

The only way the establishment wins is if we keep playing the game that they've set up in their favor.

So you boil the frog slowly and ultimately it is the frogs' decision to remain in the pot until boiled. In other words, the frog continues to play the game (of sitting in the pot).

The establishment wants us to continue to play the game, because the game is set up so that the establishment wins.

It's like cheating in a poker game. The only way the cheater wins is if everyone continues to play. The only way the cheater loses is if there's nobody left to play. So the ultimate goal is to keep them playing.

The frog won't be content to remain sitting in the pot if you turn the temperature from low to high, same as Americans won't be content to continue playing the game if suddenly they are suddenly disarmed.

But, if enough people (especially children) are murdered by guns, then eventually this country could come around to the belief that guns should be illegal. You see that meme ramped up every time something like that happens.

I don't see it happening in our lifetime, but eventually I could see it happening over enough generations (slow and continuous boiling).
