I'll bet Bloomberg absolutely loathes people like Bernie Sanders. A grifter who is absolutely trying to destroy the American way of life with his radical economic policies.

I think this is really the reason Bloomberg jumped in the race. He doesn't want to be president...he wants to make sure Bernie is NOT the president. Bloomberg would rather Trump than Bernie.

The rest are dunking heavy in the tank for communism. There is no way that the real mainstream democrats are all THAT far left.

I actually know what's going on with all of this and it's fricking idiotic.

I listened to some guy on NPR a few weeks back talking about how the Democrats basically cannot win by appealing to moderates. There aren't enough of them that aren't going to vote for Trump was essentially what he was saying.

Instead the Democrats have decided that they can target first time voters. People who swing far to the left. They think there may be enough of those types of voters out there to give themselves a shot.

I was lol'ing very hard at that interview because it seemed to me they are currently rationalizing the death of their own party.

1) the first time voter numbers are actually way down this cycle so their strategy is DoA

2) they are driving their party so far to the left they are alienating independents not just for this cycle, but for good.

This is all a grave miscalculation. They're literally driving their party off a cliff trying to stop Trump. They would be far better served to just throw out a sacrificial lamb this cycle and try and regroup for 2024. But the problem is that all of the party bigwig types are actually in real, legit trouble. As in, go to jail, type trouble. So they have totally abandoned reason and have the clowncar headed straight for the cliff.

It would be funny as hell if it weren't so tragic and potentially dangerous for our country.

Lol.

For real though, what a fascinating man to go out of your way to never talk to. I would love to sit down with solzhenitsyn.

Bloomberg targets Sanders: "What a wonderful country we have. The best known socialist in the country happens to be a millionaire with three houses. What did I miss here?"

#DemDebate

If you go and listen to the audio of that clip you hear the absolute frustration and anger in Bernie’s response. He’s a fraud and he knows it.

I used to think that while his ideas were bad, his thoughts and concerns were genuine and authentic.

He’s a fricking hack and I hope the DNC screws him hard.

I say good for Bloomberg going after Sanders. I loath liberal, progressive and democrats in general, but a socialist...uh, a socialist is the worst. Anti American at it core. People like Sanders should be shouted down by all of these fools...so should AOC.

Why stop there? Shouldn’t we who actually pay taxes provide lunch for everyone?

I certainly don’t oppose providing lunch assistance to low income children in public schools. ( But definitely “socialism) Having children and providing food, clothing, shelter is the responsibility of parents....not the village. Are those same kids going to help with chores around my home?

The topic was giving ownership of companies to employees which is literally the definition of Communism
in other words, giving employees company stock. It should lead to a positive feedback loop that benefits the company and employees

Government mandating it. Employee ownership over the means of production is the actual definition of Communism. To suggest otherwise is dishonest or ignorant. If that's what you favor, own Communism

what’s the percentage of ownership that we’re talking about? Because there’s a difference between mandating 5%, 10%, 25%, 49.999%, and 90%. Also pretty sure this would only apply to the biggest corporations.

The question asked was about Bernie's mandate to give workers 20% of their companies.

It's odd that the democrat party is going to select a communist or a moderate Republican (Never Trumper Repub) as their nominee.

They don't working parents pay for school lunches. Lazy parents have working parents pay for their kids lunch.

I’m amazed that a person can deal with any form of government on routine things all the way from city to federal and actually want them to have more power.
