You are still assuming that the version you are subscribing to (the Chicago Tribune's story) is the correct one inspite of substantial evidence to the contrary.
I mean, I don't know about you, but if some dickhead on the corner tells me that X happened and someone else says Y happened,if I don't know who Y is, I have no reason to doubt him over X who is a known liar from a notoriously corrupt city he is claiming to tell the news for. After all, the other narrative is supported with video evidence.
There's even less evidence that Bernie was throwing eggs at anyone.
Go to bed, Alex Jones, you're drunk.

Ad hominem.
Be better than them, indeed.

This is where I get confused about the whole fake news/election interference thing. What would such an item cause a Trump voter to do that could sway the election?
The only thing that even remotely comes to mind is perhaps a person who was going to vote for Sanders, but sees this and makes a snap decision to vote for Trump instead. That's cartoonish, I know, but what else am I overlooking?
ETA...and I realize it's the left we're talking about here and not you personally, but I'm just trying to figure out where they could go with something like this.

At least I'm not jumping through hoops to advocate for perpetuating a lie.

He never said that , you lack reading comprehension skills.
It is hard to tell what he is on about TBH, he is rambling about so many unconnected dots and cant stay on topic.
When you combine this with the obvious anger issues it seems he is suffering from BPSD.

You're thinking logically, the media and party loyalists don't think that way.
A big part of the problem with condoning things like this is that the media allows (and sometimes even perpetuates) this as long as it is a lie that benefits the Left. If it's done on behalf of the Right then it will get fact-checked and used as a weapon against us. Giving your opposition a weapon to use against you is self-defeating on a number of levels.

You don't know it's a lie.
That's the entire goddamn point.
Don't make a claim.
I was careful not to.

Yeah, I guess all they need is a plain ole block of molding clay from which they form whatever their imagination can manage. Valid point.

Putting the courtesy of due process aside, the story of his being arrested for siding with the protesters rather than for egging them far predates the story of the egging.
-The first mention of this being about egging blacks shows up only a day or two after he announced his candidacy for President last year.
-The actual charge was for Resisting Arrest, a common charge for peaceful protesters. Someone egging the blacks either would not have been charged or would have been charged with Assault.
Occam's Razor favors my stance.

Oh, really?
quote:
What do you think his younger self thinks of black folks? Hint, he doesn't think much of them.
That's a claim that he "doesn't think much of" "black folks". And you made it.
quote:
The guy that has campaign workers on tape saying Bernie wants labor camps for conservatives. The guy that has, himself advocated for reeducation camps. The guy who honeymooned in Moscow during the height of the cold war.
^^ that guy is apparently "above" being racist.
That's a backhanded claim that he is a racist.
quote:
ignore the dude's obvious fricking history and positions and give the guy a pass where it isn't due.
That's a claim that we should consider him a racist because his campaign people hate conservatives.
I didn't know Conservative was a race.
quote:
So you agree he was arrested at a civil rights rally.
Interesting.
Is that photo of him being arrested?
If so, the question comes down to "who do you think he was throwing shite at?" Right?
Your statement basically states he was being arrested for "throwing shite at" someone. He was charged with Resisting Arrest, not Assault.
quote:
I've outlined my reasons for why I think he may be a racist.
quote:
Are you guys seriously saying the dude isn't a racist? That's fricking crazy.
That's not "he may be a racist", that's "he is a racist".
quote:
Here is a video from Veritas. The verbiage amounts to "those we don't agree with will be sent to a gulag." and that Trump supporters "will be sent to reeducation camps" or be "lined up and shot in the head."
And we have idiots in this thread pretending to be "conservatives" insisting this dude isn't possibly racist.
Again, I didn't know Conservative was a race. When did this happen? Was there a party? Was there cake?
quote:
The overall question of this thread is, "is Bernie a racist?"
My argument is that his own fricking campaign managers verify that he is.
Where exactly did his campaign managers claim he's a racist? Can you give me a direct quote because I somehow keep missing it.
By the way, that too is a claim. And yes, again, you made it.

Uh....that's a pretty popular picture, can't believe anyone that follows politics has seen it before.

Until Bernie apologizes for this image, he might as well be throwing egg on every underprivileged POC TO EVER LIVE

You are a complete dumbass.
Campaign manager??? It says in the video the guy is a "field organizer".
You don't have a single clue what you are talking about.

Nobody has said this. They said this protest and arrest were FOR civil rights in Chicago and the arrest record proves it. This cation in this photo is a made up meme that you are buying apparently.

How would any white person would ever want
to vote for him? Bernie is a fraud and a con man.
