This election is a throwaway. Why wouldn't Warren and Biden save face and just promote him at the DNC to take on Trump so the rest of the candidates don't have to be the one that gets routed? I've thought for the longest time that the best they can do is punt to 2024 until they at least have a message besides muh collusion and peach mint and a more competitive candidate and in my humble opinion that's going to be how they'll do it. Avowed socialist pushing an insane economic policy against tGOAT stock market

What happens to all the campaign money donated to a candidate that goes unused during an election?

I don't know I'm sure they'll find some way to waste it as usual. It's not like any of their war chests are crushing it right now.

They can either donate it to other politicians or they can keep the money for a future political run themselves.

I sure hope it's Bernie. Would be a rout. The majority doesn't want:

Free college tuition
Abolishment of private health insurance
Green new deal
National Rent control
Housing for All
Internet for All
Jobs for All
Gun ban and forced buyback

Although Bernie would be a largely lame duck President anyway because the millionaire Democrats in his own party aren't going to pass shite like rent control that takes money out of their pockets.

And I'm not being hyperbolic...all of those platforms are ideas he lists on his campaign website.

I'm simply asking a question. I have never researched the issue and never really gave it any thought for that matter.

Might I suggest taking a bit more interest in how your representatives are elected.

Biden has to run to keep up the “political opponent” nonsense since his family’s corruption is coming out.

Warren lies more than Sen. Harris

Bernie has a past that hasn’t been overlooked, just kept quiet. As it is straight communism and childish.

All of them are equally terrible in their own unique ways.

Ditto or at least have the fortitude to admit you are for changing the entire financial mechanism of our country’s history and success.

The DNC is not going to allow Bernie to be their nominee.
