I want him to endorse trump in 2020. Trump has come through on tax cuts, Gorsuch, immigration, and his beloved Jerusalem.

Will lose all respect for Ben if he plays the cuck card again

Men that have been in fistfights are eternally suspicious of men who haven’t. That’s Ben’s issue . A certain kind of man always views a guy who lives a Life of The Mind suspiciously and maybe even contemptuously. He’s too smart and talks too fast and too effete for some. My whole life people have asked me to dumb things down for them, I can’t imagine what it’s like for a guy like Ben.

From where I sit I see Ben as a brilliant but vaingloriously proud Guy. Of all the pundits, his consistent usage of Straw Men annoy me the most . I also think his age, his post- Iron curtain perspective makes him a little too current . Jewish Conservative intellectualism has always been about the long view and some times he misses very simple things because of his age .

So , small doses of Ben Shapiro for me. He’d do good to listen more and talk less.

Edit- I totally get your point DS. He takes on his own camp . You respect that.

shite that's some serious wordsmith-ing right there. It also happens to be about a damn near perfect description. One of my favorite guilty pleasures is watching Ben melt snowflakes on college campuses. He is principled, fair, and fricking brilliant. The problem is Ben is aware he's brilliant. He loves the smell of his own coffee. Ben also doesn't plan on sitting behind the desk of the Daily Wire for the rest of his life. Because of this,he's careful of with the things he says. He'll also capitulate enough that CNN has him on as a regular contributor. I think a problem that Shapiro is going to run into is that when he seeks an elected office(which I think is his ultimate plan), voters will be turned off by his speaking style, lack of empathy, and generally just find him pompous.

This would surprise me. I think he views himself as a warrior. I’d expect to see him doing college campus tours 15 years from now.

Why don’t you pick a few of those and I’ll discuss.

Better idea

Instead of me reading your mind and knowing which ones you disagree with, how about you tell us.

Shapiro has said he's only interested in two positions: President and Supreme Court Justice. No way in hell the later will happen given how crystal clear he's been over some things he'd turn over, but the former might. He's said he would have less power as a Senator or Representative than he does as a major political commentator. You just get him on that debate stage, and I think he could take off, and Shapiro could certainly throw a rally.

Guy is sharp as a tack. He dissected the CNN town hall on his radio show and exposed it for the disgusting spectacle that it was.

He said he had to basically quit giving speeches about black crime because he would get death threats for simply pointing out statistics and data. He said something to the effect of people getting seriously upset and mad about discussing facts and data.
