This. He was wrong on Trump (in 2016) and he’s wrong on a bunch Israel. But he’s way more engaging and having conversations with young kids then somebody like Hannity or Tucker are going to have.

I don’t push politics on my teenage kids at all but they know who Shapiro is and they make fun of him for his twerpiness, but they also know he owns woke college kids. They’re learning logic and debate and facts vs emotion.

Compare him to people the right used to like like Will, Kristol, etc. Compare his current message to that of a bunch of people that board (myself included) voted for in Bush, McCain, and Romney.

It’s small, but DW is engaging in the culture war in their own way and it’s better than the old guard.

I finally watched the question and answer part.

So a lot of those kids actually agree with him on issues, they just interpret what he’s saying wrong.

No one else is going to teach them. One example is the kid just saying capitalism bad from bailouts. Shapiro says, bailouts are bad but that’s not capitalism.

So they agree on the point, the students just are arguing against the wrong thing because they have been indoctrinated by white liberals.

The country really is more rt than people believe. They’ve just been duped to hate things they don’t even know about.

If you were in touch with reality you'd know that there isn't much difference in perspective or knowledge between the college kids embarassing themselves in that video and adult rank and file NPC lefties. It's the same adversarial (and delusional) talking point regurgitation and inability to debate the actual issues once the virtual signalling script is gone.

Those getting clowned in the video won't be any less delusional in adulthood than they were at 18-21. The Shapiro types are hopefully a sufficient enough intervention for some.
