Actually it’s very simple. You wanna spit on white Christian straight men fine we’re taking our ball and going home. Let’s see how they like losing 90 percent of the people who work

You really think 90% of the American workforce is white straight Christian males? Lets just say thats true (its not)....what percentage is going to sacrifice their job, their bank account with cash, their homes, their full bellies, their time raising their children to join your revolution? You ever had bullets whiz past your head? I have..... and in most cases un trained and non desperate people run the other way.

80% of posters on this board are comfortable, overweight and have a gravy-arse job sending emails and posting on TD all day.
Then they complain how horrible their lives are because of the mean old govt.

This is such backwards thinking.

How would they support their citizens that rely on Fed money to live? Social security being the number one issue.

This is the no.1 issue with the secession argument, the demographics just don't work. The states that would have the balls to do it, all southern gulf states are also far and away the most minority populated. There is no way in hell blacks would allow their communities to get off of the government teet.

I would add most other depographics as well. If you had 20% of residents wanting to secede, that would be on the high end.

Yes, I have said on here for years and people
Laugh. The case is promissory estoppel and we need to file it as a class action lawsuit that says United States vs. elected and appointed officials. They need to be charged in a criminal case and a separate civil case. We have to defund Washington DC to regain control of the nation!’

The divide is too great. It's been 159 years since our last dust up. It's time again for another.

I would love to see regional blocks of states start to work together to leverage the feds in pursuit of their citizens' best interests. Border states, gulf states down south, etc. Working together, I think states might have more success.

I agree. And that's probably exact what will happen. Like minded folks banding together.
It will come down to zip codes. And probably very similar to the Mason-Dixon line established during the civil war.

It's not just federal government. We're broke at the local level as bad if not worse. Nobody in politics is serving their constituents. They're all serving themselves.

For something shitty to pass, the shitty amendment will have to get at least 8 of the following state's to vote yea -

Wyoming
South Dakota
North Dakota
Idaho
Utah
Montana
Nebraska
Kansas
Oklahoma
Indiana
Alabama
Arkansas
Mississippi
Florida
South Carolina
Tennessee
West Virginia
Iowa
Ohio
Texas

I don't see even 3 liberal votes in that group.
