Do you?

There are also studies of molested children and their percentage of those children being gay. Why is that?

Why is it that the Trans-community has a 41% attempted suicide rate?

partially because there is already a mental imbalance that causes them to be gay/trans

even if they are not bullied, the idea from within a teenagers head that they are "not normal" can have negative influences on their mental health

this is why I don't have any issue with the normalization of the gay lifestyle

the more normal it is, the less mental health issues gays will have

did the molestation make the them gay?

or were they preyed upon because of their low self esteem/mental health or their desire to be around men?

You are moving the goal posts all over the place

I've never denied that mental health issues are a problem within the gay and trans community

and stop conflating gay and trans

trans is much more harmful than gay

I asked you the question. Dont deflect.

My "goal posts" have been firmly planted.

Normalizing situations with increased mental issues is NOT a good thing.

You are just normalizing issues we dont want to deal with. Just covering up whatever problem Joe or Sally are dealing with by ignoring it for normality....

I know right? It's almost like they've been told they're "not normal" by most of the world.

that wasn't a deflection. I'm asking what was the conclusion of the studies you cited?

if the root cause of the mental issues is the non normality of it, how is normalizing it a bad thing?

I just don't see being gay and trans as being all that comparable. If you're gay, then you just like having sex with people of your own gender. It's merely a preference that I don't think is in itself harmful.

Trans though, you are having a complete identity crisis. You want to mutilate your body and being into something you weren't at all born into. This goes into self harm territory.

They're completely different.

Handing them a dress or a pair of cowboy boots are the answer.

I have no clue, but "dressing" over the problem is clearly not a solution.

Thats all I am saying.

you seem to just want to ignore it and push them farther away

you think that will help with the mental issues?

They are different but the data is still there. Thats all I am saying. Gays still have higher mental issues.

I have nothing against gays or the lifestyle, but I dont view it as normal.

I also dont care if JimBob wants to wear dress, but I do think Jimbob is messed up in the head.

you realize this is product of the "normalization" that you are so opposed to, right?

And you don't see that there's some correlation between how you and millions feel about gay people and them having mental issues? Of course that's the reason behind it.

No, ignoring the problem is glorifying Bruce as a hero. Dude is wacked in the head.

I cant make people seek mental help, but prancing people like that around as strong and a hero does what exactly? How are people in control of the message addressing it?

Its not "the" reason. Its a reason for sure, again, its still not normal.

You, and many others in here, want to continue to group these people in a category because you don't like their choices. It appears to have nothing to do with helping anyone. Tell me I'm wrong, and if so, why.

You are all over the place

You keep preaching mental health issues to us, we give you a reason for the issues, you admit it is a reason, yet still want to keep doing it

Kinda hard to take you seriously

For gays, I think its the only reason. Trans, not so much.
