Odds are the bar won't last a year under current ownership, because the owner imagined injecting his business into controversial politics was a brilliant move.

Does that clear up your confusion?

Yep. it is pretty obvious what happened. This bar owner saw what Anheuser-Busch did ... then provided his own 'hold my beer moment.

And for liberals who love to point the fervor will die, it was just "a custom can" by another marketing group for Tranny-Man, and 'Gay people drink beer to" I'd remind them of two points:

First, most of the conservatives (here at least) who are going elsewhere are more pissed at the video of (now suspended) executive Alissa Heinerscheid, who stated it's reputation was stale, was a 'bro' or 'frat' beer dying and will be dead without her 'saving' the brand.

This despite it being the #1 beer in America.

Second, ever hear of Schlitz? Like always, CNN with an out-of-time but relevant story about 'buy my beer, or I'll kill you'.

The article, published last year (being used to demean Elon Musk for Twitter of course), reminds of you of what once was...

Buy my beer, or I'll kill you (cnn.com)

Since it's cnn, here are the relevant parts...

quote:

t was a popular choice, not because it was “the beer that made Milwaukee famous,” as it boasted, but because it was relatively cheap, and actually had a pleasant, and pretty distinct, lager taste.

quote:

It got so bad that after droves of consumers had bolted for Budweiser, Miller Lite or Coors, Schlitz launched an infamous ad campaign in which actors playing Schlitz drinkers – a boxer, a lumberjack with a hungry cougar – threatened to punch you out or have you mauled and eaten for lunch if you dared take away the “gusto” of a mug of Schlitz. These became some of the most memorable commercials in TV history, nicknamed the “Drink Schlitz or I’ll Kill You” campaign.

quote:

If you’re a young beer drinker, you likely have never even heard of the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company, because since 1982 it has been resting in peace in the dustbin of history. (You can buy something called Schlitz some places today, a recreation of the old formula, but it’s now brewed by Pabst.)

Here's one of the ads on youtube...

Teri (wood) Garr - Schlitz commercial (yourube.com)

The one I remember most was a magazine print, with James Colburn looking like he was out of 'Our man Flint' with a panther? by his side. Wish I could find this, I loved that photo as a kid... lol.

So you think this came out of no where? No way they had a problem with patrons who couldn’t shut the frick up about this?

You think they were eavesdropping on every conversation or do you think the kind of people who idk shoot machine guns at beer and slave cans in grocery stores might also be a disturbance to people around them.

Subarus with the "Coexist", "Love is Love", and "Be Kind" stickers

Certainly there are many. It's the customer who adds the stickers, not Subaru. They are excellent vehicles at a reasonable price point. If they start putting rainbow flag stickers at production or trannies in commercials, I won't buy another one

One of the millions of example of nasty, disgusting liberals who lack an ounce of self reflection. It’s fricking hilarious
