In that scenario will we see a Korean situation?
Doubtful. No UN involved.

Will it be more like the situation in Israel?
That would be my guess.

And will Russia luck their wounds and try to take over Ukraine in a decade or so?
Very doubtful IMO. They got their noses bloodied badly. LSURussian seems to think differently though, and I certainly respect his opinion.

First of all, I was never for this war. I was upset when I heard Russia ratcheted up their invasion and pushed towards Kiev, Mariupol and Odessa. I felt terrible for the Ukrainians caught in the war zone. I believed Russia would steam roll Ukraine in less than three months the war would be over, and like in Crimea, Georgia and elsewhere Russia would emerge victorious and more people would be under their thumb.

I didn't think Russia would have that kind of success based on the size of Ukraine's armed forces and various reserves. They had the will to fight based on a long and ugly history with Moscow and they had a lot Javelins, Nlaws and Stingers along with their own tank killers. They have been very innovative with drones too.

The next three weeks or so will be revealing as Ukraine is reputed to have 13 full brigades well stocked with Western armor that are newly trained.

Time will tell. I don't think most Russians really want to own Ukraine like Putin does.

Oh I had my way, the Ukraine counterattack would be a stunning success. Wagner would be gone, Russian troops in disestablished and Putin facing severe pressure at hone to the point a shite knight came in and took him out. The new regime would reach out and a peace negotiated to the satisfaction of both parties.

Afghan tribesmen broke the Russian Army before with a lot less Soviet deaths. I suspect that the average Russian young conscript does not share Putin's compulsion to own Ukraine.

Crimea may be a different story. Neutral independence may be the best case there.

Now you can keep pounding the drum for peace when the peace you really want is whatever stops us from wasting away more tax dollars in this useless shite.

FIFY. We have much more important shite at home to deal with. Rampant inflation, out of control gas prices, a broken housing market, unchecked "immigration" at our southern border, etc..., and all you fricking retards care about is being able to put Ukrainian flags on your social media profiles so you can look cool.

We're a broke nation who has a mountain of our own problems but you just want to be able to yell Slava Ukraine or some bullshite because you think war looks cool on Call of Duty.

Wrong, some of us can multi task.

I can oppose open borders, push for conservative government, and track the economy, and still have time to follow the war. Maybe you have a problem, but I do not.

Your future economic situation says no.

They're continually bankrupting us, and younger people will be the worst hit.

Good luck living on less but feeling good that we did all we could for ukraine.

I just completed a very good year, but who knows what tomorrow would bring.

I’ve lived through way worse inflation. I paid over 12% interest on a home loan. I’ve waited in lines for gas. I wore sweaters to work because the heat was off.

You guys haven’t seen nothing yet.

And what we are doing for Ukraine is peanuts. Between Trump and Biden we’ve spent real money on yesterday and there’s little left for tomorrow. They each spent real money.

I do have a problem. I have a problem with us sending hundreds of billions of dollars to fund a war being fought between two corrupt shitholes that has nothing to do with us. I have a problem when I go to the grocery store and see eggs going for $8 per carton. I have a problem when I go to the gas pump and pay more than $3 a gallon. I have a problem that our housing and auto markets are completely fricked. I also believe the current administration loves that pricing for all of these essential goods is out of control right now and that sending hundreds of billions to Ukraine makes the inflation problem worse.

We can't fix everything all at once. Ukraine is not worth it. We need to focus on fixing shite here at home.

I have no faith in the current administration, but from what I can recall, inflation was higher before we started contributing to Ukraine in a big way than it is now.

you gotta love how this thread was once again derailed by OT phaggots.

ISW/NATO/globohomo trained proxies got their asses beat by a weirdo bald Russian oligarch and his prison goons. how is this not an absolute tactical embarrassment?

Compare the inflation rate in 2021, 22 and now. It’s going down.
