Auschwitz Memorial responds to MSNBC host Chris Hayes over comments on concentration camps

The official Auschwitz Memorial Twitter account responded to MSNBC host Chris Hayes after he commented on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's (D-N.Y.) controversial comments that detention centers housing migrants are “exactly” like concentration camps.
Hayes tweeted throughout the day Tuesday about the freshman lawmaker’s comments. Tuesday morning, he responded to Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo), who slammed Ocasio-Cortez for “demeaning the memory” of the Jews who died in the Holocaust and telling her to learn “some actual history.”
Hayes argued that “If you spend a few minutes learning some actual history, you will find out that concentration camps are different from death camps and have a history that both predates and extends far past the Nazis.”

In response, the memorial tweeted, “@chrislhayes Please consider following @AuschwitzMuseum where everyday we commemorate and educate about the tragic human history of #Auschwitz.”

Hayes continued to Tweet about the controversy Tuesday, saying “Last comment on this: "concentration camp" is an extremely charged term and I get why many people are, in good faith, uncomfortable with its application for Godwin's Law purposes among others. So let's just call them "detention camps" and focus on what's happening in them.”

The ignorance keeps on coming folks. The Congressional dems are acting in a very prophetic way here, yet again.
And, what is "Godwin's Law"?
And, what is "Godwin's Law"?

Godwin’s Law says that as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison to Hitler approaches 100%.

Godwin's law (or Godwin's rule of Hitler analogies) is an Internet adage asserting that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1"

Anybody who makes such an asinine statement is literally too stupid to breathe.

In other words, Hayes accused someone else of what he himself was guilty of doing. When liberals are involved, this is another online probablity that nears 100%.

This is a serious thing? I've never heard this. Then the application in that twit is astounding!

Wish I had more upvotes for this.

So in other words, the more you repeat a lie, the more people start to accept it as true.
Window dressing the msm's dishonest propaganda in academic sounding garble

1. AOC is an idiot.
2. Lots of people conflate Nazi death camps and concentration camps.
3. ICE detention is nothing like the former and NOT VERY like the latter.

In 2014 Obama had babies in cages but it was okay because he was the black jesus.
The dems talking point of babies in concentration camps will back fire bigly. Their Speaker AOC, started all of it.

Agreed generally, but her comparison to the c-camps was very deliberate and manipulative. Hayes is dutifully parroting the talking point.

The dims, AOC and the MSM are exploiting this ignorance.

Nothing similar beyond certain physical attributes. Purposely, no comparison. Dims, AOC and the MSM are exploiting imagery above reality.

Chris, why wouldn't you call them detention centers like you did when King Hussein was President? It's almost as if you have an agenda, Chris?
Weird.
Weird.

Hayes goes on to tweet:
I probably deserve the ratio but whatever the hell you call them we should be closing them. There is absolutely no reason to be detaining the vast, overwhelming majority of these people. It's unconscionable.
They would not exist if the illegals did not come at all. CNN and this Hayes guy call them migrants. They are illegals committing illegal acts ignoring US law(s). When the rule of law breaks down, you get detention centers, disease, security risks, overflow, etc.

There's your open borders admission. Chris, sponsor some and bring them into your home. Virtue signaling arse hat.

AOC comments started with Godwin's law; it didn't become a matter of Godwin's law

I still don’t understand where we’re supposed to put the babies according to these lunatics.
They walk up to Border Patrol with the “parents” who rented them with the very goal of being arrested so that they can (cough) apply for asylum with the assistance of their DNC Paid attorney. These babies in cages are allegedly homeless. So where are they supposed to be sheltered while their “due process” is going on?
Are we supposed to rent them apartments? And if the apartments don’t have cable and adult supervision, then what.
This shite is no different than Ellis Island. We have to put them somewhere. So what’s your suggestion AOC?
