Yeah the Bloody Mary and beers at Fox Bros didn’t do me any favors.

I looked at it as two of us and one of him. Still, glad it didn’t come to that though.

Yep.

It’s gone from a hippy laid back bohemian vibe to a hardass unfriendly tense militant leftist atmosphere.

I don’t go there anymore and have no intentions to go again.

That feeling of tension, that simmering threat of violence and danger, is prevalent in L5P but has spread all over the city to a degree.

One more week as a resident in this city.

Congrats to you, that has to feel great. I don't live there but I have to go to and work in Atlanta frequently due to my job and I'm counting the days until I can retire. 1 year and 9 months and I will never, ever enter that city again

Thank you, headed to Woodstock and Cherokee County and it’s 70% Trump vote as of next weekend.

It will be a good spot to land for now until we decide our next long term move. We may stay there, go to a small town in the North Georgia mountains or NC or TN, or go to a new country altogether.

Haven't been in 6-7 years. Went to see a play at the Fox theater. Got chased up the street by a homeless dude screaming at me and my wife while no one even looked sideways. Not a cop to be found. Hotel front desk warned us to not be outside after dark due to all the mentally ill homeless and drug addicts.

Take your "culture" and blow it out your arse, how could anyone live in a place like that?

Amongst people I know that live there, there is a flight to North and Northwest OTP. Don’t blame them though, turns out brunch in downtown Roswell taste just as good as Grant Park.

I only go to ATL for the airport and my health care at Emory on Peachtree. In, out and back home. Nothing good will come of prolonged time in the ATL.

There is a huge homeless shelter/soup kitchen not far from there, right next to Emory Midtown Hospital.

There is an exit off the Connector that puts you out right at that intersection. One day I took it and then had to stop for a long red light at the end of the off ramp at the intersection. It was like a herd of zombies straight out of The Walking Dead swarmed around my car. Seriously, they looked dead and insane, stumbling, mumbling, wild eyed, drooling, laying all over and against my car.

I was in downtown Atlanta when LSU played Oklahoma in the semifinal game and that will be my last trip to that area I will make. Absolutely nothing there but potential bad things happening to you. Not worth it.

Same for me. That game was the last trip I’ll ever make to Atlanta.

The SEC needs to move the SECCG out of Atlanta. I’ve attended every game LSU has played there since 2000. Im never going back.

I'm in the mountains of Virginia now, but sort of looking at the usual suspects (Costa Rica and Panama) down in Central America too. The smell of shite stinks up the entire house if you don't have the proper air freshener (Trump) around to get rid of it.

Man a high school and college buddy of mine lives in Woodstock with his wife. I hung out with them on a weekend about a month ago. We went downtown that Sunday. It’s cool as hell!! Great little town. I really enjoyed it there.

If you're referring to Peachtree-Pine, that finally got shut down a few years ago.

Yea good restaurants, bars, outside areas, nice neighborhoods. Love the railroad track right through the crowded little downtown.

I would advise her to carry a gun but she’ll probably go to prison if she uses it to defend herself and you’ll be fired, just like Garret Wolfe’s mom.

Definitely take a stun gun though. Something.

C'mon

I moved from the city about 6 years ago but still live ITP and obviously spend time and do business there.

While I'm thankful for the move,I haven't seen anything like this and still see friends in West Midtown and Midtown and let's face it real estate prices are through the roof in both places and pretty much all over the city proper.
