re: At least one David Allen Coe song is frowned upon in Hammond

One night years ago a friend asked me to pick him up but wouldnt tell me why. We end up at a bar where the windows are blacked out and they are charging us $75 a piece. My friend covers it, but Im still confused about what exactly is going on. Once we get into this small bar I realize that DAC is on stage. It was awesome. He played for over three hours and not only played his material he played George Jones, Hank Jr, CCR, etc. He also told stories between songs. To this day, it is still my favorite concert that I have ever seen.
