So, do you consider other countries imposing tariffs on our exports the definition of “Free Trade”?

Free trade can be unilateral.
Youre still looking at wealth as "collective wealth" instead of individual wealth and individual transactions.

Sure, but the whole talking point about free trade has been used for decades to decry what was seen as an outdated model of the US imposing tariffs on the global market place.
So why should we only play by those rules and not other countries in our business dealings?

Elon bought Trump.
Why do you just make shite up? Are you that intellectually dishonest? How has Trump been enriched by Musk?
Hell, if Trump wanted to maximize his wealth he would've simply remained in the private sector.

You can’t even take care of yourself or else a 10-15% drop in the stock market wouldn’t make you a hyper emotional bitch.

Why do we consider their mistakes at all? Why screw up the way they do and ruin what is the best economy in the world?

I consider campaign donations to the tune of $260 million - $280 million to be enrichment. You don’t?
You brought up Intellectual dishonesty…

Just like the other guy, you're one of those pussies that won't post the entire quote. I'll go ahead and do it for you...
It doesn’t matter if I'm willing or not, right now I don't have a choice.
But this is my money that's being fricked with. Not Trump's money, not Musk's money, not Congress or the Senate's money. Not the Washington insiders money or the uber wealthy in this country. All of these people have the financial wherewithal to insulate themselves from this shite.
But I'm supposed to take one for the team? Well frick that shite. When it comes to my retirement, America First can suck my dick. I come first and the people who rely on me comes first.
I'm dealing with this shite right now because I don’t have a choice, but if it doesn't change. My vote will rightfully reflect my displeasure.
You want to fall in line with the rest of the Shiite MAGA's and Orange Muhammad's "America First" propaganda, knock yourself out homeboy.
"America First" is a slogan, it's a billboard, nothing more. Wake up your mind, red pill yourself. Don't get suckered by it all.

Lol, what? Our economy has been floundering for 5 years. Their “mistakes” are costing us money and you’re ok with that?

Nothing Trump has done has negatively affected me. Nothing.
Call me old school or stupid, but I don't gamble money on a 401K reliant on the economy. I save up my own money. I'll probably be dead by the time I hit retirement age anyway due to the nature and conditions of my work. But Mrs. Axe will have a nice nest egg and some good life insurance checks. The kids are all grown and self sustain.
I'm not as connected and affected at much by many of the standards because I don't play the same games. I'm happy for y'all that are going to make a killing when this market rebounds, but I'm going to keep doing things my way, the hard and less profitable way, because it's all but guaranteed and it has worked for me for several decades now.
I take care of me, and I always will. I support and oppose so many different political policies based on how they affect people close to me, not on how they personally affect me. Many of these policies really don't. Biden's policies were shite because I suddenly started paying more for everything and making less. During Trump's first term, I made more and paid less. If I'm to look at recent history and postulate a hypothesis as to how things will shake out, I'd be inclined to lean towards a repeat of pre-Corrvid Trump's economy that still held strong in spite of draconian lockdowns.

You mean the bypassing of congress to enforce tariffs through declaration of national emergency and obscure law citation?
Thats just a blatant lie......
quote:
In 1934, Congress passed the Reciprocal Trade Agreements Act, which gave President Franklin Roosevelt the ability to change tariffs rates by 50% and negotiate bilateral trade agreements without additional approval from Congress. Since then, the president has mostly controlled and executed tariffs policies as defined by Congress.
You better stop now

Cross to carry, is this like a cross pen in your pocket? Because the idiom is "a cross to bear".
And its nothing a US citizen has to bear, they simply chose to buy chini or not, its their decision.

Trump's plan is 100% the right move and history will show as such. And there is only a small minority that is negative toward what Trump's doing. He is in the middle of the most successful term in American history and executing every thing at the highest levels with the smartest people on earth. The only reason anyone is mad is beaches of the lies at the msm and DNC

Is the expectation for China to flinch first? Xi will call on his nationalists and state propaganda to whitewash any news coming out of China on the effects of these tariffs, while being able to wait out any negative sentiment or downturn in his economy, because who is going to challenge him?
Google can be your friend. There is ALOT of unrest in chini right now, both inside and outside the party, some of Xi's own people in the military have been removed. Their economic woes are well documented and this certainly will not help them if they chose to double down.

And there it is, the omnipotent lie.
Its an accounting entry, if you have trillions of deficits on one side of the ledger.....what is the corresponding entry.....cash. And that my friend is how you end up 38 trillion in debt and chini taking that cash that you borrowed to get.....and bought up half of the United States.
