As a democrat I’m rooting for Desantis in the primary.

Even though I think DeSantis would have a much better chance at beating Biden than Trump does I hope Desantis wins the primary. Desantis may be a little crazy imo but at least he isn’t “let’s try to overthrow the government to stay in power even though I lost” crazy like Trump is.
A return to semi normalcy on the right would be a positive step imo.

Nah. You just can’t stand Trump, and I’d bet you don’t even have a decent explanation why. It could be Ron Desantis or Bon Mescantis - makes no difference who it is, as long as it’s the Trump opponent. That’s your guy, whoever it may be.

You don’t think it’s embarrassing how poorly the presidency has gone for Biden so far? Inflation, unbelievable debt, the worst foreign policy 2 year period in 20 years, Afghanistan withdrawal, trying to imprison opponents, having the media leak questions to KJP, him spying on an opponents campaign when he was VP, increasing crime, etc. And with all that, you are worried about normalcy?

Reagan was normal and a great president. There have been a lot of great republican presidents. Trump isnt one of them imo, neither is George W.

If we go back to "normalcy" we are intentionally pulling the wool over our own eyes. Normalcy looks like a weak man's game.

I'm curious about what policies or ideas that causes you to identify as a Democrat rather than any other political party.
