H2A workers.

So they are legal? Then no problem.

If they are illegal I hope you get caught up in it and the government breaks you financially and emotionally.

So you’d rather his money go straight out this country than be spent here

One would assume that a business owner would have a much better understanding of how markets set prices than you do.

So sponsor their work visas for harvest time then provide them transportation back to the border when that work is done. Hand them their paycheck upon their arrival at the border. That way you meet your temporary employment needs without contributing to a larger problem.

If our workforce sucks, then how the frick are we by far the largest incubator of innovation and the world’s largest economy. It ain’t because we don’t want to pick your strawberries for $8 an hour. And who the frick wants to harvest sugar cane. That’s awful work.

Someone has to dig the ditches.... All over the country, there is a skilled labor issue. Electricians, Plumbers, carpenters all say good skilled labor in those trades and many others are hard to find. Again, some of the work in this country really fricking sucks, but someone has to dig the ditches. And our last 2 gen cultures don't want to work outside, and feel they are beneath working from the bottom up.

$50,000 is much less than what we pay our college new hires. That’s a joke.

Really? I graduated college in 2005 and my starting salary was $43-46k, plus benefits, and that was considered great at the time. Has inflation grown that much since then?

The few American s that I have make 50,000 + a year so I don't believe money is the problem.

50k isn’t a great salary for backbreaking agriculture work, just FYI. Most people would take less to work inside. Not saying you can afford to pay them more, it’s just a commentary on the labor market as a whole.

Have a new roof put on you house see who does it. Most insulators it the plant are legal immigrants. Nursery’s and landscapers are in the same boat. I can only guess who works in crawfish packing plants.

Collecting a government check is easier than working these jobs.

That is the problem i was pointing to in my earlier post. American borns feel those jobs are beneath them. It's not gangsta enough.

So you had to prep those Hardee’s sausage biscuits yourself? Hope you showed them your manager badge when they walked in to let them know who’s boss.
