How did anyone think Hesgeth should be in charge of the Defense Department? He was a Fox News weekend anchor. What an awful decision.

If you don't like him that is a ringing endorsement.

Is he mad about the firing woke libs or legit military men?

Yet every branch is meeting and exceeding recruitment goals since the start of this administration.

That’s exactly what Pete has been trying to do after the damage done by woke libs.

I've watched this country steadily decline since Reagan. Every president since has been Ivy league and only one did anything to help the working man.

GOOD!! Why did it take so long????
I'm guessing his decision wasn't entirely a personal one.

I think a lot of these resigning appointees take the job all gung ho and then realize after a few months the job is much harder than they anticipated while also taking a huge pay cut to take on the job they now hate.

By way of my job, I know a lot of people in the military, and almost universally relative to the conversations I have had, they think this Iran deal is extremely dumb and they view Pete as an idiot influencer turned cabinet member.

That doesn’t fit your boomer worldview though.

We all see that and likewise recognize your mental fragility on topics like this one though.

As I’ve said in the past, I feel sorry for you in reality.

One source said the decision was unsurprising given tension between Driscoll and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

False. He is Secretary of War.

A second source familiar said that in his resignation, Driscoll “brought up concerns with the administration surrounding Army transformation and readiness and Hegseth’s blocking those efforts specifically by firing the generals who were responsible.”

Good riddance.

It's always the same with these things. The person who resigns or dissents is a woke pussy commie traitor.
