If they are hurting for troops bad enough you would be. Especially depending on your previous job, skill level, pay grade, etc.

If you read the full text of what was linked, all it would take is for someone to request me by name and rank and it no longer becomes voluntary.

Bingo. Retirees have obligation vs someone who served out the 8 year active/irr obligation. Sucks arse because nobody is going to volunteer after a 20 year retirement.

If you look at tik tok videos of active duty army, I can assure you that height, weight and grooming standards no longer exist. The army is the nastiest of the nasty.

This is a great time of year to start eating plenty of high calorie desserts and start walking with a cane.

I currently have a broken wrist and can barely wash or dress myself, let alone tie my own shoes.

Haha. I'm eligible for that shite as a Tanker retiree.

Haha. I'd think about it but my wife would kill me and I couldn't pass a drug test for nothing.

The armed forces will take trannies. I’m sure they’ll get around to being cool with dopers as well.

"A bad deal...."? So I should trust the leaders of biden's ultra woke Dept. of The Army? The one's who got its soldiers out of Afghanistan so successfully? There are multiple reasons why recruitment sucks / and why soldiers are leaving en mass when their service time expires. And lack of trust & disgust at current Army policies are at the top of the long list.

This is kind of a myth because trannies aren’t seeking the military and they’d be disqualified easily, especially these days with Genesis. However, the military does produce a lot of trannies or people change while they’re in. Just like when DADT was repealed gays weren’t running to recruiting offices.

Lazy fricks are the same way they aren’t going to the recruiting office but the military is ridiculous about waivers which does prohibit a lot of ppl from joining.

The military fricked itself by drawing down then raising the standards super high. We could only enlist 1 bravo (31-49 AFQT) for every 3 alphas (50-99) when I was on recruiting. The goal of recruiting for a recruiter is to screen to disqualify or else your kid isn’t crossing at MEPS. I’d have kids that didn’t qualify that I’d walk over to the Army and some could get in with their standards but usually if someone is DQd by one branch they’ll be DQd by all. Recruiting isn’t like back in the day where they’d take everyone who wanted to join or have it as a last option. The branches could easily reduce some of these standards which they have but a lot of ppl are DQd for dumb shite. Another problem is, and idk if the army still does this but they were mandatory off work at 5pm when I was a recruiter because they have high suicide in USAREC.

This started about 2 months before I left command in 2009 after there were 4 suicides in the Houston Battalion over a period of less than a year.

For the record, if you can't tell me what a MAP is, your opinion on Army Recruiting is invalid to me.

Did you know a CSM Lewis? I think he would have been there around the same time.

I was DA selected in 2000 and he was my recruiting instructor back when he was a SFC. I peaced out of recruiting back to the Tanker's Paradise in 2003 but we kept in contact every blue moon.

I was in Chicago Battalion (5A8 to be specific). Neither of our Battalion CSMs were Lewis.

My First Sergeant just retired around the same time I did as the CSM of 6th Brigade.

Our Brigade CSM was Sherman. Our Brigade Commander tried to ban alcohol from our Brigade Training Conference but couldn't because Sherman was an alcoholic.

Why would I know Army acronyms when I wasn’t in the Army? I wouldn’t expect you to know some random acronym from the Marine Corps.

All I know is I ran my AO market share against every branch and the army left at 5 every night when our conf call was at 7 usually leaving work at 9 even over writing for the month.
