ADAMS CO., Miss. (WLBT) - An Arkansas man is arrested, accused of making “terroristic threats” on 911 calls where he referenced two Mississippi schools. The Vidalia Police Department and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office were able to identify and locate the caller that made the threat from Hot Springs, Arkansas. Kenneth Allen Moody faces charges of making terroristic threats by both agencies. Moody is in custody and is awaiting extradition back to Louisiana and Mississippi, authorities said. Details of the call were not released, but both agencies say Moody made a threat referencing Natchez High School and Vidalia High School.

Man arrested for allegedly threatening man at gunpoint, police, counselors by Steven Mross | December 28, 2017 at 4:00 a.m.

A local man was arrested on felony warrants Saturday after allegedly threatening a man at gunpoint earlier this month and threatening to kill Hot Springs police and area counselors. Kenneth Allen Moody, 26, who lists a Lodge Road address, turned himself in at 10 a.m. Saturday and was charged with aggravated assault and first-degree terroristic threatening, each punishable by up to six years in prison. Moody remained in custody Wednesday on $5,000 bond and appeared later that day in Garland County District Court. According to the affidavit, on Dec. 20, a local man filed a complaint with police alleging that on Dec. 12, around noon, he was threatened at gunpoint by a known suspect, identified as Moody. He said Moody put a loaded .45-caliber handgun to his head, but he was able to grab it as Moody pulled the hammer back. Moody then allegedly grabbed a second handgun, pointed it at the man again and pulled the trigger, but the safety was on, and it didn't fire. The victim was able to get the second gun away from Moody, as well. Moody's cousin was reportedly there when the incident occurred and witnessed the alleged assault. Both men also stated that over the last few weeks Moody had been threatening to obtain a handgun and kill law enforcement officers on Christmas Day. He also allegedly threatened he was going to kill employees of a local health care clinic where he had reportedly sought counseling. The affidavit notes the threatening allegations were corroborated by an incident on Dec. 2 when Moody allegedly called 911 and threatened to commit "suicide by cop." When officers responded and made contact with Moody he allegedly stated, "If I had a gun, I would have shot you."

So for a mere $500 this complete and utter whack-job could be out and back on the street.
What could go wrong?
