Political in fighting has been going on forever in the US. Thanks to social media and a 24 hr news cycle we just hear about it more.

Is this why when a Republican gets arrested (Roger Stone ) for example … the Eff bee eye shows up with 28 agents , a couple of helicopters flying overhead , two frogmen in a canal in case this 69 year old man decides to swim for it and a Xi NN crew filming from across the street .
Meanwhile , when a democrat is arrested it’s a courtesy phone call to tell them to turn themselves in.
