Sundown towns existed until the 1960s. This was a cross-country phenomenon but it's not like Southern states weren't participating.

The 1960’s you say?? 60 years ago.

The Martha’s Vineyard cleansing of the undesirables happened LAST YEAR.

Talked to a girl who was Asian and from San Francisco moved to my neighborhood when I lived in Lafayette. Pretty much all her friends there believed every white guy was in the KKK and that she was going to the most racist place in the country. She said she was shocked at how nice people were and how friendly neighbors are from all backgrounds were to her. It is the same when my cousin moved the New York and some people think that races here don't get along and everyone hates each other. I would say race relations in the South are better than anywhere in the country.

The wife and I never encountered anything racist when we lived in North Carolina. Can't wait to move back. Here in New Jersey, mainly in NYC, we've had several instances where racial animosity was directed towards us. Probably the thing that irritates me the most about yankees, and I am a native Upstate New Yorker, is that northerners almost always view southern states negatively, and see southern people as racist, backwoods hicks. But places like Upstate New York, NYC, Boston, Philly, etc., etc. are racist asf.

And where did those 'undesirables' come from?

What state did they come from and who delivered them there?

Please remind me. Why isn't that a cleansing then by this standard?

The 3 most racist people I know-

One is originally from Chicago
One is originally from Philadelphia
One is originally from Delaware

The racist southerners I know only say racist shite on the internet or when drunk. The yankees are much more free and open with their racism.

They took our neighborhood away!"

A neighborhood no one went into without a deathwish.

Can attest to this from having been invited to appear before this city's Code Enforcement division.

The overwhelming number of those present to answer to charges were white with many of them involved in gentrification.

See on here "how wonderful we get along," but they'll drop a nickel on you to Code Enforcement just out of spite, because you're improving their neighborhood, and by default causing them to believe that they also will have to keep their own properties up.

Is gentrification a thing in the south?

Yes in places like Nola, but those too are white democrats from the north that are gentrifying. And its funny because black people will blame white people, but then go and vote for those same people.

I first heard it from a smart college friend back in 1965:

Whites in the south like blacks personally but not generally.
Whites in the north like blacks generally but not personally.

'Barack Obama was still 'Kenyan born' in 2007 according to his literary agency...two months after announcing his bid for the U.S presidency

Online archive from April 2007 by publishing agency Acton & Dystel has Mr Obama's birthplace listed as Kenya - two months after he announced he was running for president
The same online archive dated two weeks later in April 2007 has changed the current U.S president's birthplace to Hawaii

President Obama published Hawaiian birth certificate last year in hopes to end 'birther' theories

This follows the discovery of a 1991 booklet from Acton & Dystel announcing that the Democrat was ‘born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.’

by DemshoesHave family in a tony area of Maryland. Lots of houses have BLM signs in the yard or in the windows. Ironically, you don't see black people anywhere. And if you did happen to see black people walking around, the police would be there within seconds.

Same shite in the uppity liberal neighborhoods around the KC Metro....a lot of BLM, In This House We Believe, Love is Love, Be Kind ..lawns signs.

There's like 10 white people in Detroit, and Eminem is one of them.
