I do, but I also recognize the day the civil rights act of 1964 was signed and Juneteenth as our truest independence days.
It's just not factually true to say July 4th (historically) is everyone's Independence Day when natives were denied citizenship on their own land and when African Americans were enslaved.
But with time, we can all come to celebrate the 4th as a collective holiday of freedom, but June 16th and the day the civil rights bill/VRA was signed will be the actual Independence days to me.

The American Indian didn't own the land and no one is stopping the descendants of slavery from going back to Africa.

The vast majority of conservatives are not racist. The vast majority of leftists are patriotic. And of course you have racist leftists and unpatriotic conservatives.

Well said. I would say that progressive practices can seem un-American because they're trying to change things where Conservatives want them to remain the same.

I accepted Obama as the POTUS but I couldn't celebrate the 4th of July while he was in office because I thought he was a globalist who didn't believe in the sovereignty of the USA.
Now that we have a POTUS who does believe in the sovereignty of the USA, I can truly celebrete the Fourth of July again.

The welfare system is set up to punish marriage.
Asian Americans are the richest race in this country. They also have the highest percentage of children born to married mothers. Blacks are one of the poorest races in this country and they have the lowest percentage of children born to married mothers. It is not a coincidence.
It's not ridiculous by any measure.
