Are flu shots in any way associated with aborted fetal cell lines?

I’m helping my mom with her religious exemption.
Her questionnaire asks if she’s ever had any other vaccination and she’s only ever had 1 flu shot.
If the flu shot is not associated with aborted fetal cell lines, then I’ll put that. If they are, then I’ll just put that she wasn’t previously aware that other vaccines were associated with aborted fetal cell lines.

Some may be I don't think most are. Is she required to get a flu shot?

You would be amazed at what was tested with fetal cells. Its a weak argument to be honest. Does your mom take aspirin?

Well none of the vaccines are made with these cells, just tested on them. Yes, flu vaccines probably have done the same. Seems like this is probably getting denied, just get the vaccine and move on.

CDC
Looks like animal cells or eggs

I’d do that
Do you have to list any medications she takes?
Of course she’s had other vaccinations as a child

The only vaccines that are made in human fetal cells (known as fetal cell lines) during their production process are chickenpox (varicella), rubella, hepatitis A, and the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine (viral vector vaccine), in addition to one of the available rabies vaccines.

Tested with, after development, is different. They will try to tell you Tylenol was tested with fetal cell lines although it's development predates that type of testing. Something tested after it has already been developed and released is not quite the same. It's her religious beliefs though, her right to believe ANYTHING she wants in her religion is protected by the constitution.
Edit to say: Do NOT give them too much info. Wait for them to ask for more details. Stick to her constitutional rights.

Her question was only asking about vaccinations as an adult.
They did ask if she was opposed to any medical procedures including certain medications and I told her to put yes.

That is irrelevant if she didn't know the flu shot had it.
Dont fall for this gotcha shite.

Chicken egg cells are the basis of flu shots.

100% agree. I would not be specific on an exemption. If you have a sincere belief, then who can challenge that?

Aspirin has been available for use since the early 1900’s. You’re spreading the Gaslight Media’s fake news baw.

I know. My religious exemption was already approved, so I know how to fill out an exemption. Only difference is I haven’t had any vaccinations since becoming an adult and my mom has had one. I was able to say that I haven’t had one since becoming a consenting adult and making my own decisions. My mom is going to have to either put she wasn’t previously aware that vaccines were associated with aborted fetal cell lines or (if they aren’t associated with aborted fetal cell lines) that flu vaccines aren’t associated with aborted fetal cell lines.

Don't make an argument like fetal cells.
Just tell them you cannot take the vaccine due to a closely held religious belief.
That's what the law says. You don't owe an explanation beyond that.
Tell them you are Catholic and they will say the Pope is all for the shot.
Use the fetal cell argument and they present you with a bullshite list of meds developed in similar ways.
Just cite the applicable federal or state anti discrimination laws.

There are lot of medicines that are tested with fetal cells. That was my only point. Wasn't being specific.
I have seen a LOT of people use this as exemption and denied. Just have a sincere belief.

Your mom is not obligated to know if every fda product is or use not tested with aborted fetal cells. Is that put on there label or the disclosures? No it is not. She can still have a religious-based moral objection to taking something she is aware has been developed or tested with such cells. Also, she can simply answer on that question that her vaccination history is non public medical information that is between her and her doctor

What if your religion states only Covid vaccinations that used aborted lines are verboten?
